What is Ethical AI?
These aren’t marketing lines—they’re how we work. We help teams design AI solutions that help people, earn trust, and fit into real-world constraints. The commitments below guide our advice, our deliverables, and our partnerships.
Ensure oversight
We believe: Responsible AI is guided by simple, consistent rules.
How we work: We help you set policies and review points so decisions are accountable without adding red time. We work with your team to align your policies with your company values.
Do no harm
We believe: AI should not create or reinforce unfair or biased outcomes.
How we work: We check for biased data in our deliverables, include users usually impacted by AI bias, and teach teams how to spot and fix issues quickly.
Be transparent
We believe: Clear, plan language and explanations build trust with customers and team members.
How we work: We document what your AI does, what data it uses, and it’s limits, to help you clearly convey to your stakeholders how the AI works and that they are safe using it.
Respect privacy
We believe: People’s data is personal, and deserves care, clarity, and choice.
How we work: We collect only what’s needed, get consent, vet vendors, and protect sensitive information throughout all process.
Keep humans in the loop
We believe: AI should augment people, not replace them.
How we work: We design workflows centered on human feedback and data, and focus on human-computer interaction as a core aspect of our outcomes and recommendations.
Mind the impact
We believe: Technical choices have social and environmental impacts.
How we work: We look for approaches that reduce wasted computation, improve accessibility, and consider downstream effects on customers and communities.
Our values in action
-
We focus on tools that boost our potential, and do not reduce the number of humans on our team or any project because of new tools. We level up instead.
-
We apply human-justice principles and run bias checks on any AI we use. When issues surface, we correct them quickly and equip clients with simple ways to do the same.
-
We choose vendors and settings that protect personal data and collect only what’s needed, with purpose and consent. We will not use open-source tools on a client’s behalf without written consent, and clients may opt out of data use at any time.
-
We’re clear about where and why we use AI, and we label AI-assisted work. Currently, we use AI for:
Lead generation
Editing
Tools creation
Ideation
Automation of workflows: invoicing, bulk emails, and some customer communications
Note taking and transcription
Some data analysis
Tool formatting
Marketing content
-
We maintain right-sized AI governance—simple rules, approvals, and audit trails. We’ve also sought legal counsel to help ensure our practices remain ethical and lawful.
-
We follow daily practices that keep AI intentional and minimize social and environmental footprint (e.g., right-sizing models, reducing waste, improving accessibility). We review these practices regularly and adjust as our tools and responsibilities evolve.
